our Mission

Rebuild Network is a network of churches that exists to plant and replant multi-ethnic churches in the city. We believe recapturing discipleship in the local church is the primary means to go about accomplishing church planting, because “you can plant churches and not make disciples, but you can’t make disciples and not plant churches.”

We Help Our Church Planters and Their Partners:

Start Strong and Continue Multiplying

Starting a church that multiplies in the city can be challenging. We help you assess your calling and gifting to be an urban church planter, understand your city, build your team, establish coaching, and develop your plan & systems to holistically engage your city. You will be part of a network of experienced urban church planters and pastors who want to see you begin the journey strong and gain momentum to multiply.

Multiply Disciples and Leaders

Multiplying disciples and leaders is fundamental to everything an urban church planter and pastor does. We begin by helping church planters be disciples of Jesus who multiply. From there, we help you multiply disciples in your city through IMPRINT, an urban discipleship program. We also partner with church planters and churches to equip disciple-making leaders who serve in the market place and in roles of cultural influence.

Develop Partners and Financial Support

Starting a church in a city should be a team effort. We help you develop a team of partners that will be with you throughout the foundational years of your church plant. We also provide financial support and planning, so you can begin well and become financially self-supporting.

We…

1 Are a multi-ethnic movement with an emphasis on developing minority leaders.

2Pray for our cities, our communities, our churches, and our families.

3Encourage, equip, inspire, and nurture the souls of pastors, church planters, cultural influencers, and market-place influencers ministering in the city.

4Create opportunities for urban pastors, church planters, and leaders to connect  around biblical truths.

5Equip churches to use a variety of ministries (poverty, education, justice, and families) and events (concerts, art exhibits, market-place training, etc.) in the city in order to love our neighbors and engage them with the gospel.

6Partner with churches to help them multiply in the city.

7Promote and model missional living, individually and corporately, with the ultimate expression of multiplying missional disciples, groups, and churches.

8Promote and model churches having a plurality of pastor-teachers who share the corporate preaching responsibilities.

9Provide resources that better enable church planters and leaders to multiply churches in the city and utilize cultural and market-place influence for the advancement of the gospel.

10Model life-on-life missions and discipling to provide authentic, purposeful community.
